Fluxgate Sensors

 

 

Magson fluxgate magnetometer technology for space applications is based on developments in research institutes (IKF, MPE) in the late 80th and 90th. The development was supported by the German Space Agency (DLR, former DARA). Instruments provided by Magson are flown on Equator-S, on the space station MIR and on the Rosetta Lander.
All Magson flight magnetometer are based on Magson ringcores. The ringcores guarantee low noise and long term stability of the magnetometers.
