| The Rosetta Lander is a multinational contribution to the Rosetta Mission. Released from the Orbiter about one kilometre above the surface the Lander will hit the nucleus at about 5km/hr, and anchor itself to the ground. Many miniaturised instruments in the Lander will examine the materials and texture of the surface. Magson provides electronics for subsystems (anchor, landing gear, thermal control system) and experiments (Romap). |
